ABOUT THE TEACHER
This is Joel Kohlman's 29th year in education. Joel started as a substitute teacher in Texas and then a Special Ed Paraprofessional in San Francisco. Joel has been teaching English since 2002 and has been working for Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools including CICA since August of 2015. In 2020, Joel began working on Highlandia, a language learning video game which is now part of our 'The Future is Now' Project.
