Welcome to My Page!

My name is Julie Parsons. I earned my Bachelor's in Linguistics and Russian from BYU, Provo. I earned my MA in TESOL from Sacramento State. I am passionate about the power of interaction and team building in the process of learning. I started my teaching career at Highlands in the summer of 2022 after years of teaching adjacent experiences, including coaching gymnastics, leading English conversation groups in Russia, and substitute teaching in K-12.

 

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband and two sweet boys. I enjoy baking bread and other sweet treats. My family and I are always looking for another adventure; a new trail to hike, a new place to visit, a new culture to appreciate.
