Mom you did it on grad cap

Ciara Nunes

Hello Everyone!  Here is how to pronounce my name https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rZYu_GfEoc (Kee-ruh)  Last name Nunes (Noones).  I have 25 years of teaching experience.  I have a bachelor's degree in accounting, and went back to school to become a certified teacher and continued my education until about 40 years old. I grew up in the bay area and then lived in Pennsylvania for 27 years.  I now think snow it pretty, but never want to have to shovel the amount of snow I used to have to do.  While there, I taught high school, had a farm, and competitively jumped horses for over 20 years.  The highest I jumped was just under 4 feet!  I had 4 horses and bred them, bred Weimaraner dogs and yes, almost 25 cats (all outdoors and I'm not a crazy cat lady!)  I learned a lot from horses:  patience, focus, math and physics.  Believe it or not, it is the rider, not the horse that does most of the work.  You have to ask the horse what you want and hopefully you get the results you wanted.  This was now the new education I did instead of doing more college work.  I am now retired from riding as I don't bounce from a falls anymore.  I have one retired horse now and I gave him 2 mini donkeys to keep him company.  Of all the animals I've ever owned, donkeys are hilarious.  I could watch them all day.

In 2017 I happily divorced and moved back to California where I found my high school sweetheart.  Yes, dreams sometimes come true.  We got married in 2019 and are motto is to enjoy life.  No drama.  We are the proud grandparents of 3 and are expecting another one next April.  Family is precious.  We currently have 3 dogs:  a cane corso named Roxy, a neopolitan mastiff/lab mix named Clyde, and a chihuahua named Layla.  I asked for a mini cow and pig.  I was told a no go.  I clearly love animals.  We live in the Foothills on 7 acres, which is a big playground for us.  I love to travel, but sometimes difficult when I have a lot of animals.
